Monterrey, Mexico – At the end of 2021, CSM launched Ethylene Bis Stearamide (EBS) Wax onto the market, becoming the first manufacturer of this product in Mexico.
EBS wax is an organic chemical which is a product of the reaction of Vegetable or Animal Stearic Acid and ethylenediamine (EDA) and is widely used as an internal and external dispersing and lubricating agent in the manufacture of various plastics such as ABS. Being a synthetic wax, EBS wax is also used as an anti-caking, antistatic and dispersing agent.
